William “Bill” Dunn, CPA

MY EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE

I am a graduate of Central Michigan University with a BSBA in Accounting and began my accounting career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Dallas, Texas as an auditor.

I exited the world of “Big Eight” accounting in October 1982 to become a partner of Shost & Dunn CPAs with a mission to better serve small businesses and individuals. This pursuit continued as owner of William L. Dunn & Associates in Garland, Texas in October 1986. Recognizing the need to offer my clients an even greater depth of services, I became a joint owner of Dunn & Dill CPAs, P.C. with Julie K. Dill, CPA in January 2004, and I continue to facilitate the ethic of superior client service. Past Commissioner of TIF. On the National level, I am currently a member and Chairman of the AICPA 2002 Small Firm Networking Group.

WHAT I DO AT DUNN & DILL

As the Managing Partner/ Majority Owner of Dunn & Dill, I provide the vision and direction for the firm. I am also responsible for the overall performance of the firm and handle the marketing. In addition, I supervise the most difficult assignments and provide our clients with excellent tax planning services.

I am a civic-minded businessman who is a Leadership Garland graduate (Class 26, The “BEST” Class), and currently serve as a commissioner on the Downtown Tax Incremental Financing (TIF) Committee of the City of Garland. I am also a member of the AICPA and have been a Texas CPA since March 1984. I am a past board member of the Garland Chamber of Commerce, the Garland Downtown Business Association and the Garland Landmark Society.

In my spare time, myself and my wife Debbie enjoy the pursuit of genealogy and are busy documenting all branches of our family tree. I am always in constant search of the “perfect glass of wine!”

Julie K Dill, CPA

Financial Partner, Tax & Advisory

MY EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE

I am a Garland native and a graduate of South Garland High School. I graduated from the University of North Texas, with a bachelor degree. Prior to joining William L. Dunn & Associates in September 1996, I worked in the accounting field as controller for a variety of industries. In January 2004, I became partner of Dunn & Dill CPAs, P.C. with Bill so that a greater depth of services could be offered to our clients. I strive to work with you to help identify your vision & meet your goals.

I am also a member of the AICPA.

WHAT I DO AT DUNN & DILL

As a Financial Partner/ Owner of Dunn & Dill CPA’s, I manage the tax and small business accounting and bookkeeping procedures for the firm. I am also in charge of all administrative functions of Dunn & Dill. My expertise in budgeting and taxes help our clients with their personal and business needs.

MORE ABOUT ME

My husband Reagan and I live in Sachse. We have four daughters as well as two female boxers as our other children. My poor husband is always surrounded by females. Reagan is a food broker for restaurants in the DFW area. In our spare time, we enjoy spending time with our family and friends as well as the outdoors.

Richard C Wortham, CPA

VP of Strategic Development

MY EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE

Richard C. Wortham, CPA – Dick is a former partner with a national CPA firm and later owner of Richard C. Wortham P.C. While continuing to maintain his practice, Dick joined Dunn & Dill to assist us in practice development. Dick will be helping us with mergers and acquisitions, both for us and our clients, as well as other client needs and marketing. Dick is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. He and his wife Susan live in Dallas.

Kevin Champagne

VP Business Development

Kevin serves as the VP Business Development for Dunn & Dill, 3DS Computer Services, and Imagine 21 Concepts.  Kevin is skilled business leader with over 25 years of Telecom industry as well as working with startup companies. He is responsible for business development, sales management and sales operations. Kevin has executive experience in driving first-class sales initiatives focused on cloud, managed services, and complex enterprise environments. Kevin takes great pride in understanding and solving business problems for clients, getting to know them on a personal level, assessing their specific requirements and working towards a solution.  Kevin’s approach is results-oriented, focusing on the goal of building honest, reliable long term partnerships.

Chelsea McCoy

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in December of 2012 with a BBA in business administration and a MPAC in professional accountancy. I started my accounting career off as a tax preparer preparing individual tax returns for a small local firm in downtown Dallas. I later joined a public accounting firm where I was an auditor for homeowner associations until joining Dunn & Dill CPA’s.

I joined the team at Dunn & Dill in August 2017. I assist in the preparation of audits and bookkeeping.

I grew up in Forney, Texas. I am a proud dog mom. In my free time I enjoy being a home body with my dog and boyfriend.

I love what I do. I have a variety of tax experiences from working a mid-sized public firm and working in the industry as well. I have three degrees from University of Texas at Dallas in finances, accounting and taxation.

I am from Russia, came to Dallas with my mother 15 years ago. I love gardening and I have 22 roses bushes and other beautiful flowers. I have two Chihuahuas and a husband to be, we are finally getting married after 10 years together.

I joined Dunn & Dill CPAs, P.C. in August 2005. I graduated from West Mesquite High School in 1995. I have a strong background in customer service and as an office manager. I enjoy working with clients and helping them with their bookkeeping and payroll needs.

WHAT I DO AT DUNN & DILL

In my twelve years here, I have progressed from receptionist to officer manager to my current role as head bookkeeper for our clients. I make sure that all reports are accurate and complete on time and to our clients. I also make sure that client’s financials are prepared on a timely basis. My focus on client satisfaction provides them with exceptional service in every interaction.

After work is finished, family time is my top priority. My husband Gary of 22 years is a plumber for Mesquite ISD. We have three wonderful children, Christina, Dylan and Danny. As a family we enjoy going to the family ranch and hunting..

I grew up in Callisburg, Tx. A small town north of DFW on the border of Oklahoma. I have one fur child, Tanner who happens to be the sweetest dog anyone will ever meet. I am a huge F.R.I.E.N.D.S. fanatic. When its not football season, my boyfriend and I love to binge watch series on Netflix as well as spending time with our family and friends.

I graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School in 2011. Recently, I began attending Richland College in my pursuit of an Associates in Science, followed by a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. After joining Dunn & Dill in the summer of 2014, this job has allowed me to attain various skills to help me thrive professionally, strengthen my background in customer service, and improve customer interactions.

WHAT I DO AT DUNN & DILL

Here at the office I serve as our Firm Administrator and assist with our clients as a Client Service Representative. First hired as a receptionist and then moving my way up to Firm Administrator, I take great pride in truly understanding our clients and their needs. Its also imperative that the day to day operations in the office go off without a hitch so that our staff is well taken care of in order to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service and results.

Born in San Antonio but a native of Garland, TX. I like to make the best of both worlds and represent the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys! Useless trivia facts are my favorite and food is my best friend. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, binge watching a series on Netflix and working out.

I am a Client Service Representative.  I serve a large portion of our clients while being  the main point of contact while using the services of Dunn & Dill CPA’s P.C. It’s my job to make sure the process is easy and the clients are being taken care of.

Born in Houston but moved to Garland, TX when I was 5. I have a dog named Sunny who is my baby! I like doing hair and makeup, being outdoors, and spending time with my family.

Nicole Crosse

MY EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE

I graduated from Wylie High School class of ’09. Upon receiving a full athletic scholarship for soccer, I attended North Western Oklahoma State University where my education continued while pursuing a degree in Psychology. As a freshman, I started every game my first season, where my drive for excellence showed through my dedication on the field. Focusing on my education, I continued my studies locally in Texas, at Collin County Community College. After college I remained local and continued to build my skills. With 10 years of customer service experience and my aspiration, I will provide and develop outstanding working relationships with all of Dunn & Dill clients.

WHAT I DO AT DUNN & DILL

I am the Receptionist. I greet clients while providing excellent customer service. Managing the phones is one part of my job set, which is to ensure all phone messages are delivered to the appropriate team member. Building rapport with each client, to assess their needs, and escort them to the proper room is another. As the receptionist, I also manage file documentation to assist the department with ongoing projects. Working closely with the Dunn & Dill team, I do everything I can to make certain that our clients get the utmost customer service experience.

MORE ABOUT ME

I am the mother of a beautiful soccer star (she takes after her momma!). My free time is usually with my daughters’ soccer practices and games, of which I am the teams elected soccer mom!  I am in a committed relationship with my boyfriend, Josh. Family hikes and exploring nature during the weekends is our bonding time. My family and I are huge Dallas Cowboys fans, my daughter Layla and I share a love of reading, tacos, science, close family time and of course football.  I start my day with a smile on my face, and make every moment count!
